The Ohio Statehouse

Visitors planning a visit to the Buckeye State could also put the Ohio Statehouse on top of their list of local attractions to visit. Located in Columbus, it is the seat of the government for the Ohio State. Designed as a Greek Revival structure housing the General Assembly of the Ohio State and the offices of the Governor, Deputy Governor, Auditor and Treasurer.

Apart from being a working government building it also functions as a museum that encourages learning. Open to visitors with no admittance fees it attracted almost 70,000 people last year who were a part of the organized tours of the building.
