What should you know about the Palace Theater?

On its date of inception in October 1926, the Palace Theater featured some of the best works in vaudeville performance. It was named the Keith-Albee Palace at first but changed the name to RKO Palace.

It went out of service in the year 1975 and was later restored becoming a home for the Opera Columbus and featuring a number of Broadway shows.

In 1989, however, a purchase was made which brought the Opera under the management of the non-profit organization CAPA.
