Ohio Historical Village is a museum operated by the Ohio Historical Society. The village is a recreation of rural community that existed during the period of Civil War. The village is a town square and is surrounded by 15 buildings where the visitors can watch the residents performing the daily chores which were done during the 19th century life. The village also has costumed interpreters which welcomes the tourist and describes them the operations of the public buildings.
After the normal operating hours of the village the gardens, grounds and buildings of the village is made available for organizing private and special events. This historical village with set up of 19th century hosts some special events throughout the year. All Hallow's Eve is a famous signature event of the village which is held every year and has includes celebration of Halloween in 1860's style which is very unique and exciting.
