Jewish Communities in Columbus

The Jewish Community of Columbus (JCC) is a services organization that provides a varied program that is largely the nature of the Jews. The Organization which has offices at 1125 College Avenue Columbus improves the quality of family life and promotes physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of its members. They also provide health-related activities and cultural and educational programs that reflect the Jewish heritage.

The Jewish community of Columbus was established in 1913 at 355 South Washington Avenue and expanded in 1918. The United Jewish Fund provided funds to build a Jewish community in 1935 and then inauguration done in 1949.

Although primarily a membership organization, the JCC, serves the community as a whole, including the population are at risk.
