Good Hiking Trails in Columbus
The best hiking trails in Columbus are located at High Banks. High Banks has over ten kilometers of trails to choose from and more difficult than the others in the City. As you go along this trail, you will notice different levels of landscape including the functional sculpture entries from Olentangy River on the west side of the park. It may be warm in the afternoon but it is nevertheless excellent outdoor fun.
The Overlook Trail is another major route. This path is linked to the Dripping Rock Trail just behind the picnic area Oak Cove, south-west of the Nature Center and leads visitors to the top of a huge rock 100 meters above.. Here, just across an ancient land, is a viewing platform from which hikers can get a decent view of the river.
