I am taking a flight from Columbus to New York. What food items can I carry on board
Most airlines are choosy about what you can and what you cannot carry on board the aircraft as far as food goes. Nuts, dry fruits, granola bars go fine with most airlines. You can also carry an empty water bottle and fill it up at a fountain after your security check if the need exists.
On long haul flights check with your airlines in advance and make sure that you are not compelled to starve in mid air. Not a funny idea to be airborne on an empty stomach.
The following is a good resource point to enhance your knowledge on different aspects of air travel.
