Wearing helmets while riding a bicycle was proposed but, it has not been transformed into action till now. It appears that the police force has made it compulsory for the riders below the age of 18 to wear helmets while cycling. The state policy has focussed on the health awareness and safety reasons. Director Mitchell Brown stated that, wearing a helmet while riding a bicycle is meant for public safety and people should take it as a rule. This concept is directed towards the safety of the people and thus, came the helmet law.

However, the government has also made different groups according to the age, so that the minors will follow the law in a strict manner. Though this matter has been proposed but it has not been enacted fully, till now.
