
Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus: A Unique and Popular Botanical Garden for Visitors of All Ages
The Franklin Park Conservatory is a botanical garden and one of the most visited tourist destinations in Columbus Ohio. Entree to this place allowed on paying an admission fee. People from all age group can have some delightful time while at this botanical garden.
Special family activities are organized here in which all members of the family can take part. Some of the upcoming events organized for families coming to Franklin Park Conservatory are: Fly-trapping games, Cookie decorating, thankful tree craft and many more.
Another interesting program organized for the people of all ages is the 'Cooking with Bugs'. This program includes demonstrations of bugs that are commonly eaten by us. This program is hosted by Chef P.R. Mantis. To take part you will have to pay $25 if you are already a member and $30 if you don't have membership.
There's another program named Trick or Treat. This program includes activities related to art and craft. If you are a member of Franklin Park Conservatory, you can bring up to 4 guests on the 31st of October and there will be a 50% discount available on the admission fee. This program includes events like: temporary Halloween tattoo, face painting, making Halloween items at the craft station etc.
Every day at 1pm another educational program called Daily Flytrap Theater takes place. In this program an employee of Franklin Park Conservatory with quality knowledge about carnivorous plants informs the audience with interesting information related to the habit and habitat of these uncommon plant species. The entree to this program is free.
