Columbus City Center is a popular shopping center in Columbus, Ohio where are a lot of local and tourist shoppers go to. It is a three level mall located downtown right next to the Ohio State Capital and the Ohio Theathre.

The shopping center has its glory back in the days of its rise but was closed down by the year 2009. It was then the largest and upscale shopping center in the city until it was flocked with tons of new competing shopping stores in the area and met its decline.

Even though Columbus City Center closed down, this area is still alive with nearby restaurants and hotels.

The Columbus City Center Mall is a three-level shopping center, which was open since 1989. The mall has space for about 150 specialty stores during its opening and has a suburban style design. The Columbus City Center Mall has a mixture of upscale specialty shops and affordable shops as well. This is to accommodate shoppers with different tastes and budgets.

This mall used to be one of the most sought after malls in Columbus but due to its continuous decline in popularity the mall was closed down in March 5 of 2009.
