Columbus City Center is a popular shopping center in Columbus, Ohio where are a lot of local and tourist shoppers go to. It is a three level mall located downtown right next to the Ohio State Capital and the Ohio Theathre.
The shopping center has its glory back in the days of its rise but was closed down by the year 2009. It was then the largest and upscale shopping center in the city until it was flocked with tons of new competing shopping stores in the area and met its decline.
Even though Columbus City Center closed down, this area is still alive with nearby restaurants and hotels.

If you want to get a taste of Mandarin and Cantonese cuisine, you can go to Ming Flower Chinese Restaurant at Lazelle Road in Westerville. If you go for the old time sandwiches at Subway, you can grab one at High Street. For some German food, you can take a look at the menu at Schmidt's at Kossouth Street. If you want a night cap, you can head to Barley's Brewing Co. where you can find a nice bar.

You can also find a number of hotels that near the City Center which include the Holiday Inn City Center in Town Street, Courtyard by Marriott in Spring Street, Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Front Street, German Village Inn Columbus in High Street, and Red Roof Inn in Nationwide Boulevard, among others. Other hotels that you can find near the City Center are Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Westin Great Southern Hotel and Baymont Inn.
